The company operates from various locations nationwide including all major Malaysian ports offering customers a variety of transportation and logistics needs. As a subsidiary of FGV Holdings Bhd, FTSSB has come a long way since it was first established in 1975. Initially set up to provide inland transportation services to Felda Group of Companies. The experience, expertise and capabilities acquired over the years have transformed the company. Continuous emphasis on skill upgrading and acquisition of new, more modern equipment means that now it is one of the more reputable Government-Linked-Company (GLCs) for logistics business in Malaysia. Established under Section 42 Land Development Ordinance No.20 (1956) an agency under Felda known as Perbadanan Angkut Felda.
Incorporated under Companies Act (1965) as Private Limited Company and became Felda Transport Services Sdn. Bhd (FTSSB) which is partly owned by Felda Holdings Berhad and Koperasi Permodalan Felda (KPF).
Fleet tonnage upgraded in phases from 15 MT to maximum 42 MT as customers increase palm oils production every year.
Today with almost 500 fleets, inland transport operation can fulfill up to 18,000 MT at one time daily.
Accorded the Malaysian Multimodal Transport Operator (MTO) to handle the inbound and outbound shipment of government cargo.
Started using Vehicle Tracking System to monitor real-time fleets movement and to ensure products carried arrive safely at their destinations.
Collaboration with DHL in Sparepart Logistics Services (SLS) for Felda Palm Industries mills nationwide.
Acknowledged as The Best MTO Operators (Airfreight/Seafreight Category) by Tenaga Nasional Bhd.
FTSSB became a subsidiary of Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) - Public Listed GLC inline with the acquisition activity of Felda Holdings Bhd and FGV.
Started using Integrated Logistics & Distribution System (ILDS) where all standalone Delivery Order process being automated to Online web based system for a real-time delivery information.
Both customers and FTSSB can have better logistics plan for fleets coordination, mills stocks movement and bulking storage information.
Health, Safety and Environment management improved by being awarded the SIRIM's OHSAS 18001:2007 and MS1722:2011 certification

TECHNICAL & MAINTENANCE
We have our in-house workshop at each depot to manage maintenance and services of fleet which are led by engineer and repair by foreman, mechanics, electrician and welders. They have been trained and vast experience in their work. The advantages to have in-house workshop are:-
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE)
HSE unit was established in the year 2013, and its objective is to provide a safe and healthy environment and balancing business objectives with environmental interests to employees, contractors and visitors. To manage HSE risks and allocate reasonable resources to prevent incidents, accidents, occupational poisoning, impact on the environment, pollution and occupational diseases. Our goals are zero fatality, towards zero major accidents, to reduce road accident caused by driver’s negligence and reduce number of injury at premises such as workshops and office. We comply with OSHA 1994, Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Act 1974, but not limited to Transportation Regulations, Safety & Health Regulation and Environment Regulation.
